Minor Celoxis Upgrades for On-premise Customer

    When a major version is released, a notification bar appears at the bottom when you login to Celoxis.

    When a minor release is done, we do not send out any notifications and it is always best to check with us about the same.
    I understand that this process needs to be changed and my product team is evaluating options for it.

    I think it would be good to send an email to on-premise customers when there is any minor or major upgrade.

    We did that earlier and our customers complained about the emails being sent. Hence, the practise was discontinued and we only enable the notification in the application itself for major release.

    I would suggest starting sending email about upgrades again but give customers the option to opt-out from the email blast. Or give customers the option to opt-in and only send to those who opted-in.

    How about having a page/discussion forum on minor/major upgrades that customer could follow?
