Planning for Helpdesk/Support Project plans

    We create a separate project for each fiscal year for Support.  Then we assign tasks for different applications supported to the people who normally support them.  Doing this, we can set a budget for support for each application and then track hours/cost toward that budget to see how we are doing for the year.  This keeps it relatively simple to track hours of support by application and fairly easy to enter time sheets for the support team.
