The September 12, 2026 Celoxis SAAS release introduces new capabilities across reporting, scheduling along with several usability improvements and fixes.
These updates are designed to make it easier to understand how reports are being used, manage project schedules, work with large project plans, and maintain integrations with Celoxis.
Elapsed Days: Schedule Tasks Using Actual Elapsed Time
Celoxis now supports elapsed duration for tasks.
In addition to scheduling tasks based on working time, you can specify duration using elapsed time, such as:
2 edays24 ehours
Elapsed duration represents continuous calendar time rather than only the working hours defined in the work calendar.
For example, a task with a duration of 2 edays represents two continuous calendar days, regardless of weekends, working hours, or other non-working periods.
This is useful for activities whose duration depends on actual elapsed time rather than resource availability or working calendars.
Report Usage: Understand Which Reports Are Being Used
Administrators can now view report usage information for the last six months under Reports->All Reports view, including user-level usage details.
This makes it easier to understand how reports are being used across your organization and identify the reports that are most valuable to your teams.
Report usage information can help administrators:
- Identify frequently used reports
- Understand which users are accessing specific reports
- Find reports that may no longer be actively used
Better manage and organize the report library
Gantt UX Improvements: Work Faster with Project Plans
Several usability improvements have been introduced to make working with tasks in the Gantt view faster and more convenient.
Quickly Add Tasks
Hover over a task to access the Add option and quickly create a new task without navigating away from your current position in the project plan.
Easier Indent and Outdent
Indent and outdent actions are now available directly while hovering over a task, making it easier to organize tasks and build your project hierarchy.
Keep the Task Name Visible While Scrolling
When working with larger project plans, the task name now remains visible while you scroll horizontally across the Gantt.
This makes it easier to review dates, dependencies, assignments, and other scheduling information without losing track of the task you are viewing.
Minor Enhancements
This release also includes several enhancements across scheduling, reporting, administration, and calendar views.
- Prevent Deletion of Apps Containing Items: Administrators can prevent Apps with existing App Items from being deleted.
- View All Assigned Resources on Calendar Events: Calendar event banners can now display all assigned resources when clicked on "+" icon.
- Share Incomplete Timesheet Reports with All Users: The Incomplete Timesheet Report can now be shared with all users.
- Simplified Task Delete Confirmation: Users can confirm task deletion from the Gantt view using a checkbox instead of typing
Delete. - Find Unassigned Timesheets More Easily: The Assigned To filter in Timesheet reports now includes an Unassigned option.
These improvements make everyday project management easier while providing administrators and integration teams with better visibility and control across Celoxis.
