Hours-based resource allocation is now available as a Beta feature.

This company-wide scheduling option allows you to allocate resources to tasks by specifying the number of hours each resource is expected to contribute, instead of using percentage-based allocation.

To enable this feature, navigate to:

Admin > Project > Project Options

and enable “Allocate task resources in hours (BETA)”.

Once enabled:

• Resource allocations across projects will be managed in hours.
• Existing percentage-based allocations will be automatically converted to hours.
• The setting applies company-wide, so resource allocation will use either hours or percentages across all projects.
